These elements symbolize the way people who find comfort in a character eventually begin to adopt their specific habits and interests. This connection is most evident in the subject’s decision to visit a pumpkin patch to study, directly emulating the academic lifestyle of Rory Gilmore from the television show Gilmore Girls.
