Materials: Red food coloring + water, acrylic + watercolor, paintbrushes, rhinestones, cds, walkie talkie, string. Process: Gray table cloth + paint + cds for background & paint on cup, face, mask, and models’ arms. My artwork successfully captures a picture of a teenage girl delusionzing a conversation with a character she has seen in American media as she find comfort in it, instead of the people who surround her on a day-to-day basis. Through the use of movement, costumes, and connection, I was able to further portray the focus on the excitement of the teenage girl relating to Ghostface. In the photo, I added a lot of hand prints, like on the shirt, the model’s hand, and around the background to showcase how the teenage girl feels when she talks to Ghostface (her trying to fit in with Ghostface’s vibe is what comforts her). Also, the reason that Ghostface doesn’t have the cup right next to its ear is symbolize this conversation as the girl's delusion and that whatever she is saying doesn’t actually get to Ghostface, as this is not reality and rather just a comfort move.
